What affects the price of my apparel?
Garment: There are tons of garment options these days, in different colors, fabrics & styles. Feel free to check out our products to find what you like, or if you’d like the sales team to find you a few options, please be specific in your description so they know where to start looking!
Locations: If you plan on printing on more than just the front of your garment each additional location will raise your price. Size of the design makes no difference; a small left chest logo is priced the same as a large front logo. Common Locations include:
- Left Chest
- Right Chest
- Left Sleeve
- Right Sleeve
- Upper Back / Locker Tag (if you are also printing in the Back location this will not be an additional location)
- Low Back
Number of Colors: For Embroidery, Tackle Twill & Sublimations the number of colors has no effect on price. For Screenprinting every additional color will increase the price. The maximum number of colors in a single location is 5-6 depending on the garment.
What qualifies as a ‘color’?
As a traditional screenprinter a ‘color’ is a solid color that has no variation (for example light grey, grey & dark grey are all different colors & images or illustrations are not possible ) Screen-printing is similar to making something out of cut paper, since paper doesn’t not mix when you overlap it & does not blend. So if you were going to make your design out of only pre-dyed paper how many colors would you need to use?
Quantity: The more garments you order (that are getting the same imprint) the lower your price will be. This price decrease happens in segments so you need to be in a certain quantity range to get a different price. Our quantity breaks are 1-5, 6-11, 12-24, 25-49, 50-99, 100-199, 200-299, 300-499, 500-999 & 1000+
