  • Screenprinting

Screenprinting or silk screening is a printing technique that involves a fine mesh or screen that is tightly stretched around a rigid frame. The areas that are not to be printed are masked out using light sensitive materials on the screen. To create the print, the framed screen is positioned over the item to be printed along with a dollop of thick ink. A squeegee is then used to press the ink through the screen. The masked areas prevent ink from passing through, but the unmasked areas allow the ink to be imprinted on the material. The final step is to send the item on a conveyor belt through a heat-tunnel to cure the ink. If more colors are desired in the design, the process is repeated (before reaching the final step) with different screens. Therefore, a design that has four different colors would require four different screens.

  • Embroidery

Embroidery is a technique of decorating apparel with needle and thread. The process begins with the design being converted from a typical image file into a format made up of digital stiches that the embroidery machine can read. This process is known as digitizing. A fee is charged to have your design digitized, but once it has gone through this process is can be sewn year after year with no set up fee. The products are set up and attached to the embroidered heads and the proper thread colors are put into the machine for the design. The machine follows the stitches created in the digitized logo and the design is sewn onto the product. Embroidery is a high quality print method that, years ago was considered much more expensive than other print methods. This has changed in recent years because the process of digitizing has become much faster with new programs.

  • Tackle Twill

Tackle Twill embellishing is produced by cutting pieces of heavy fabric and sewing them down onto a garment using an embroidery machine. Since embroidery can become quite expensive for large designs Tackle Twill allows your design to cover more area with a minimal amount of stitching. Designs need to remain quite simple so that they can be cut out of fabric and sewn down with ease. Tackle Twill can also be layered (only 2 layers) to create outlines or extra elements. Any parts of a design that are too small to cut out can be made into embroidery and stitched on top of the design.

  • Sublimation

Sublimation is an allover full-color permanent garment print. It is unlike any other heat transfer process, resulting in a garment quite like any other. A special sublimation ink is used to print designs onto a large scale transfer paper. Transfer paper/s (if the garment has printing on both sides) and the garment are placed into a heat press where the ink is transferred & fused into the fabric. Unlike other processes where the ink or stitching sits on top of the fabric, sublimation ink is dyed into the fabric giving it a light feel. This also means your design won’t wear off overtime since it is a part of the fabric. In order for this process to work the garment must be polyester and white or a light color.

In order to bring you this exciting print process we have cut a few corners to get your garments to you fast and for a reasonable price. Unlike the expensive time consuming sublimation garments that are printed onto fabric, cut out and then sewn together; the garments we print on are already completely sewn together. Elements such as custom necklines or sleeve colors are not possible on sewn garments. Due to this fact as well, nothing can be printed on the sleeves (such as a logo or text) since the sleeve is folded in the press.

Imperfections Disclaimer: Most garments will not lay perfectly flat when we prep them. As a result, any wrinkles on the garment won’t have ink applied to them. These areas will remain the original color of the garment (White). This is a standard part of the sublimation process. Think of your garments as an individually unique product.
